Man caught videotaping teen girls on the South Shore

HANSON, Mass. -- South shore schools sent out a word of warning to parents and students after several young girls were followed and photographed.
"An individual has been identified by the local police department of being involved in suspicious acts in our communities, including following and photographing teenage and young adult females," said Supt. John McEwen of the Whitman-Hanson Regional School District.
Alerts were sent out on Monday night to all homes in the district about the incidents.
"Young teenagers or even younger are supposedly being videotaped," Supt. McEwen said.
According to authorities, the suspect has been seen in and around school properties.
He was allegedly seen taking pictures, videotaping or following girls in communities as far north as Rockland, and as far south as Carver.
School districts across the region have taken action by notifying parents and students.
Police have identified the suspect, but his name has not been released. His activities are being closely monitored by law enforcement.
"I just know my sister got a warning notice from school, about the guy, what he looked like and stuff," said Shawna Carroll, who has a younger sister in the district.
Authorities said he is a large white man, who's balding, in his late 40s and is about 5'9" and 300 lbs.
Officials confirmed he has been served a no trespassing order, which means he's been ordered to stay away from playgrounds and parks in the area.
No charges have yet been filed.

Atleast you know he's not much of a threat. I think a teenage girl could jog away from him.

What a stupid statement. His size does not make him any less of a threat.

I was trying to add a comical response to the sickening story, and yes it does make him a little less of a threat in the event that he tried to grab one of those girls. We're talking about teenage girls here, not little girls that can get lured by the man without needing him to go very far.

Either way this creep needs to be locked up for good.
