More than 1,000 Massachusetts emergency workers will be responding to a mock airplane crash tomorrow morning as part of what is being billed by the Massachusetts Port Authority as the world's largest mass casualty drill. The test will involve more than 60 police, health, safety, and fire agencies from around the state. The emergency workers and 500 volunteers will simulate a response to a collision between two airplanes at Logan International Airport. The drill is designed to test response, review plans, and evaluate communication among public and private responders, Massport officials said.
