By Lauren Daley Standard-Times staff writer October 10, 2007 6:00 AM WAREHAM — Police have arrested a man whom they suspect broke into several cars recently. Kenneth Dickey, 43, of 125 West Elm St., Quincy, was arrested Oct. 6 and charged with possession of burglary tools; possession of a Class D substance; possession of a Class B substance; receiving stolen property; breaking and entering a motor vehicle; and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. According to Lt. Irving I. Wallace, Mr. Dickey was stopped at 3 p.m. Oct. 6, by Assistant Harbormaster Rollin Buckminster. Mr. Buckminster recognized Mr. Dickey’s vehicle as one suspected in several motor vehicle break-ins over the past week. Mr. Buckminster noted it smelled of burnt marijuana, police said. Officers Jon Verhaegen, Allan Courchesne and Kevin Reilly arrived and determined Mr. Dickey to be unlicensed. In the vehicle they found marijuana, a white powdery substance believed to be cocaine, several cell phones, credit cards, CDs, a digital camera and other items they suspect were stolen, according to Lt. Wallace.
