Massachusetts College of Art - Campus Police Officer
Responsibilities include performance of police duties to ensure the safety of the college community and protection of campus facilities. Must be a team player with a strong commitment to community policing and crime prevention.
Candidate must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work in a multi-cultural campus environment. Candidate must be flexible and willing to work any shift, nights, weekends, holidays and to report for duty any time.
Must be eligible for appointment as a Special Police Officer under M.GL.c22C s.63 and have successfully completed the police officer training program at either a municipal academy or campus academy. Reserve Intermittent academy in combination with education, training and experience that will qualify for appointment as a State special is also acceptable. Valid Mass driver's license required. Ability to learn and apply principals of first-aid, and CPR.
Starting salary is $563.31/weekly State employee benefit package Shift to be determined Starting date: ASAP Position open until filled
