Main Page Color Vision Testing

I understand that most departments require "normal" color vision for hiring applicants. I am looking to see what departments actually test for color vision and if so, what kind of test.

Most if not all pre-employment medical exams (in Mass) have vision testing including a color vision test. It isnt generally the department that specifies about the test, it's part of the medical exam as given by the doctor.

As for type, I think I had the one where they show you a circle that includes a color number inside and you need to correctly identify the number and color.

Csauce is correct. I just had mine and they showed me a book of circles with numbers. You just had to identify the number. The book was 8-10 pages with a circle on each page
