There has been alerts posted by NYPD and others about this weapon.

What's the bg deal with a knife gun? It's an NFA device. They are legal in the US...etc and so on.

Posted by: JoninNH

It's a covert weapon and is illegal to posess in MA.

Chapter 140: Section 131N. Covert weapons; sale, transfer or possession; punishment

Section 131N. No person shall sell, offer for sale, transfer or possess any weapon, capable of discharging a bullet or shot, that is: (i) constructed in a shape that does not resemble a handgun, short-barreled rifle or short-barreled shotgun including, but not limited to, covert weapons that resemble key-chains, pens, cigarette-lighters or cigarette-packages; or (ii) not detectable as a weapon or potential weapon by x-ray machines commonly used at airports or walk-through metal detectors. Whoever violates the provisions of this section shall be punished, for a first offense, by a fine of not less than $1,000 nor more than $10,000 or by imprisonment for not less than one year nor more than ten years, or by both such fine and imprisonment, and for a second offense, by a fine of not less than $5,000 nor more than $15,000 or by imprisonment for not less than five years nor more than 15 years, or by both such fine and imprisonment.

Wow, I have never seen that before. 5 shots, that is nasty. I will post this in my PD. Thanks.

Posted by: EXTRACOP

Wow! that is one scary thing to come across. Especially in the bad guys hand!

Posted by: SOT

Yeah but MA and a couple states say it's illegal, to that end the guy making it is making it legally so why get pissed at him?
Hell a brand new 20 round mag for an m4/AR15 is illegal in MA...does that make it wrong? Just because MA doesn't recognize/allow certain NFA items like suppressors, and AOW for civilian use ...does that make it a bad thing?
The guy making these, is doing so legally...he will transfer them legally....
So I say again, WTF is the big deal and why do you need to contact the "idiot" making a legal product that you'll probably never ever come across in your life...did I mention they are legal except in a few states like this shithole?
You gonna call Colt and bitch to them that they are making "illegal" assault weapons? Or "illegal high capacity magazines?"

AOWs ???????

Posted by: misconceived

The NFA further defines the term “any other weapon” (AOW) as any weapon or device capable of being concealed on the person from which a shot can be discharged through the energy of an explosive, a pistol or revolver having a barrel with a smooth bore designed or redesigned to fire a fixed shotgun shell, weapons with combination shotgun and rifle barrels 12 inches or more, less than 18 inches in length, from which only a single discharge can be made from either barrel without manual reloading, and shall include any such weapon which may be readily restored to fire. Such term shall not include a pistol or revolver having a rifled bore, or rifled bores, or weapons designed, made, or intended to be fired from the shoulder and not capable of firing fixed ammunition. 26 U.S.C. § 5845(e).

I was bored.

Right on, SOT.

I could cut and paste the website to dozens of dealers who specialize in full-auto, suppressed, or AOW weapons...are they somehow more dangerous? I've encountered only one full auto firearm carried by a mope, and it was modified illegally. It was also as dangerous to the operator as anyone else. You have to jump through more hoops to get a $200.00 tax stamp then to get a pilot's license, so please, chill out.

I'm more worried about reality of the sh*thead with the rusty, stolen .380 in his pocket then the media-fueled misperception that homeboys cruise the streets with Steyr AUG's and MP-5's.
