Age limit question:

I was told that the age limit is the age when you take the test. I thought that once you are over the age limit that was it. I was under the age limit when I took the test, do I still have a chance to get on? Or is my 2nd part correct? Thanks to any trooper that can answer.

Qualifications

<UL>High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Ability to obtain a valid Massachusetts firearms license
At least 21 years old and less than 35 years old on the last application filing date
Must pass entrance examination
Must pass a thorough background investigation prior to employment. *No person, who has been convicted of a felony or any offense punishable under M.G.L. Chapter 94C (drug law violations); or has been convicted of a misdemeanor and has been confined to any jail or house of correction as punishment for said crime, M.G.L. Chapter 22 C section 14, will be considered for employment.
Must pass physical fitness test
Must pass medical examination
Must pass psychological examination
Must successfully complete swimming requirements
Must be a

I might have read your question wrong but I take it you are now over the age limit?

You would be able to attend an RTT (based on your score), if it comes from the last test. However, you wouldn't be able to take another test. Hope I answered your question.
