By Brian Boyd SouthCoastToday.com September 21, 2007 11:11 AM WAREHAM — Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred Thursday night on Cove Street. A man reported he was walking at about 7:30 p.m. on Cove Street towards Onset Avenue when a small, dark car pulled up and stopped beside him. A passenger armed with a handgun demanded his money, the victim told police. The man handed over his money, and the car sped off, police said. The victim described the driver as a tall, large black male and the passenger was a short, skinny black male, police said. The incident is under investigation by the Wareham Police Detective Division.
