New Boston Police Cruiser Paint Scheme?

(Click here to view the original thread on the MassCops Message Board)

Paxcenturion had an aritcle mentioning that new Boston PD cruisers have a new paint scheme, and also that some of the current cruisers are being repainted. Has anyone got any pics, or a link to one?

The only thing that I have noticed on some of the 2007's is that the "Boston Police" on the side of the cruiser is more "Italicized" and the font is a little more fancy or modern. The colors look the same though. They haven't changed the scheme since 1991 0r 1992 when Ford changed to the sleek CVPI and not the old boxy one.

Correct. The only change is that they are using the font used on letterhead. It was introduced 6 to 8 years ago. The paint scheme shouldn't change. But, the way the Commissioner is breaking with tradition, who knows what is next

i believe the cars were pretty simple , white with blue lettering for years until Billy Bratton came along.

hope they don't do anything goofy

I think its Groton, CT has the same scheme too.

Pawtucket, RI had kind of the same scheme but altered the shades of blue and gray to be darker but essentially the same as Boston PD. They recently changed their sheme as well.
