Hi, my wife and I are Canadian Border Guards. We are heading to Maine and New Hampshire this weekend for some shopping. I would like to find a good police supply store. I know the places up here are not well advertised so I thought some of you guys could recommend a couple of places. We will be around Kittery Maine but I would take a drive down to Boston for a good store.
I am having a hard time finding a Safariland holster for my M&P 9mm. I would like to get a 6365 ALS but they are on back order 8-12 weeks up here.
Anyone know if there are any places that would stock a Safariland holster for the M&P?

Thanks

Give the Kittery Trading Post a call, never been there myself but they are alleged to have a decent assortment of gun stuff:

I have been there and they do have plenty of guns but back then they did not have much duty gear.

The Kittery Trading Post to sportsmen and gun guys is like Disney to a 5 year old.
You could spend hours in the place.

I have been at the Trading post many times and it is nice. I don't believe they sell much in the way of duty holsters.
Any other suggestions?

sorry , Kittery is about the extent of my northern exposure too , but there is a gun show this weekend. Sep 22-23 Marlboro, Best Western Royal Plaza Trade Center, NewMart Promotions, 914-248-1000

.and an even larger one next month Oct 6-7 West Springfield, Eastern States Expo, NewMart Promotions, 914-248-1000

although have to admit i don't see much cop stuff at these shows.

there are some uniform shops around Boston that sell supplies. don't know if they have your holster, but you could always call.

how about this, www.galls.com this is an online company that carry all kinds of stuff. The price is little high but will ship world wide. Lots of guys in my department order things from there. Interstate arms ia also good. Show them your canadian police ID and you may get a small discount. http://www.interstatearms.com/

I have used www.ondutygear.com and www.copsplus.com, too.

Riley's in Hooksett, NH is probably the largest store in that region.

If you really want to travel for a great deal go to Guardian Uniform in Springfield MA. Cop owned and operated, better prices and great service

In Amesbury, Massachusetts downtown to BENS Uniforms...I've found gear there and of course there is the world renowned MYRON at NEPTUNE UNIFORMS in Haverhill, Massachusetts, just about ten miles further down the Merrimack River. Look up directions to both on Mapquest etc. They are along Interstate 495 and fairly accessable from that roadway.

Both are just a short drive south of the New Hampshire shopping...which I know Canadians love as it's tax free. From Kittery it's probably twenty miles farther on to Amesbury with Haverhill another ten miles along the road
