Supposedly noone was injured in the crash, from what I read on the forum it was posted on. Just the passenger was freaking out because she was covered in blood.

Vehicle stopped for no tail lights by Trooper Don DeLorme, Colorado State Patrol on Northbound Colorado 285 in Nathrop, Colo.

Upon examining the vehicle, found the ingenious (redneck) way some local high school students fixed their vehicle to drive home from Salida, Colo. after having lighting problems.

This was taken on a recent firearms refresher course in Devon, in the U.K. That's me taking the shot and you can see the shell being ejected. If you look towards the top right of the picture you can see a silver blur which may be the round heading down the range!

PoliceOne Member Photo of the Week: B.C. Eagle Saves Hawk

Lt. Frederick Winslow of the Boston College Police Dept. poses with a baby hawk which he recently rescued on 07/17/08. The baby hawk could not fly and was in danger of being run over while trapped in a parking garage at Boston College. The hawk was later released without incident when he was brought to the top of one of the dormitories on campus and it was reunited with its mother. Boston College has seen an increase in the population of these birds over the years and this is the 3rd such bird that Lt. Winslow has assisted. He is quickly becoming our resident expert in Ornithology.
