MILFORD, N.H. -- Police were searching for a man armed with a gun who robbed a Milford bank Wednesday, officials said.
Investigators said that a man robbed a TD Banknorth branch on Elm Street just after 11:30 a.m. Employees said that he showed a firearm and demanded money from a bank teller.
The man was described as white, between 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a husky or athletic build. He had dark brown or black hair with pronounced sideburns.
He was wearing a white T-shirt, black pants and black gloves. Police said he was wearing sunglasses and a handkerchief across his face.
Anyone with information was asked to call police at 603-673-7742.
