Dress to impress..business/court attire would be the way to go

Law enforcement is a profession. Please treat it that way. There's enough slobs already out there. Really don't need one more! Thanks

I prefer my blue tights and red, flowing cape......

i would love to see someone show up to any orientation dressed as superman

No Question. A Suit.

Thanks guys, that's what I figured, but I didn't want to be the only one wearing a suit! Thanks for the advice

I remember there was only one person who did not wear a suit to orientation...strangely that person lasted only two days at the academy.

I recall a couple of guys showing up looking as if they just returned from a Jimmy Buffet concert....shorts, Hawaiian style shirts, and flip flops. They were Officer Mota's pets for a while.

I'd rather stand out wearing a suit than not wearing one.

Good luck.

Ours never showed up day 1!

I remember being at orientation on a friday afternoon one guy showed up 5 minutes late wearing construction boots cargo shorts and a short sleeve polo shirt. One of the Deputy Supt's was addressing the group as this guy came strolling in ,needless to say he was not given a warm welcome. My personal preference to err on the side of caution and be overdressed rather than make a bad impression and show up looking like a bum.

Just remember, they remember people from the orientation. If you want to be remembered day 1, then dress to unimpress.

Def... A bussiness suit, or you will hear it on the first day of the academy. Which academy are going to?
