Convicted Sheriff's running for office..Essex County

(Click here to view the original thread on the MassCops Message Board)

I hear that convicted felons can run for Sheriffs office?
True or not?
If true then that may open a door for an old pack!
Essex county old boy club that are all now out of
CLUB FED!

Charles Reardon, His special sheriff Harry Capolla,
Don Haefner, Paul Polansky, Richard Mendes,
Joseph Bogigian did I forget any???????
im sure I did, also some of these old boy members didnt have to go to club fed as they did some talking against old Charlie!
What is the old gang up to these days anyone know?

Posted by: crazy irish

I know Harry Copolla is trying to run for a local seat in Lynn. Nor sure about the rest though. What about the present Sheriff has he ever been convicted of or charged with any crimes?
You mentioned several people by name who where never at any point charged with any violation of the law so be very carefull where you point fingers.

You might want to watch who you are pointing fingers at Irish. Remember, there is someone here watching that knows exactly who you are. I would hate to have to testify in a civil suit against you for slander, libel, defamation of character, etc. If you have proof, play the cards. If not, shut up and move on. Things aren't going so well for the guys right now but since you took the 72% dive, your name disappeared. Don't put yourself back in the middle of something that might cost you some dough. Just friendly advise from the HACK.

Just asking a question. Not accusing anyone of anything. I havent defamed anyone. I simply ask a question thats all.
Don't you have some other important administrative things to do rather than waste taxpayer money monitoring this site for my comments? for christ sake go stalk someone else you paranoid freak.
By the way. Was just reading an interesting story about a Sheriff down south who was in big trouble for trying to retaliate against private citizens who where posting comments on a blog. I'l see if i can find it so you can see just what legal problems you could have for using your official position in that dept. to come on this site and threaten private citizens with legal action for voicing an opposing opinion of an elected official.

Crazy,
I didnt say they all were convicted, I said some were given a pass for yapping, and I was naming a few of the old gang that worked together in the day, I am aware they didnt all go to CLUB FED. Do you or did you work for Essex? To be honest I think Reardon did a better job than Cousins by far! Even with his concert tickets issue, etc.
I even think he could be elected again if he went for it.
That castle up on the hill in Middleton that Cousins sits in was built by Charlie!
I would like to see the current sitting at the old salem hole on St Peters St, Im sure he would have bailed a long time ago or not even accepted the appoinment from Weld.
Havent seen Reardon in years around Salem not sure if he is still in the Salem area?
At least once a year Howie Car gives him and ex middlesex a good bashing and an update of where the two of them are and what they have been doing, but havent read anything in a while.

I am not wasting taxpayer money by posting on this site. I am doing my posting from the comfort of my own home on my time off. I am not using my official position because I have never said what my official position is, just that I work for the Essex County Sheriff's Department. I am not retaliating against anyone nor will I. Everyone has a right to post whatever they want, and I have the right to rebut that if necessary. If and when you make a valid point about anything or anyone at the ECSD, I will tell you it is valid. Until then, I will come on this site, from my own home, and tell people the real truth. What stikes me funny is that you are doing exactly what you are mad at me for doing which is so like the group you once associated with in an official capacity. Toughen up if you are going to play the game.

Posted by: crazy irish

Last I heard Reardon was driving a limo or something. Not sure about the rest of them though. I agree with you about Reardon doing a better job. The place is a mess. That doesn't just come from those who don't like the guy.

Posted by: sparky

How is it a mess Irish? What is your experience now that allows you to say that?

Posted by: crazy irish

I stand by my statements concerning what I take as a threat from a person who, in your own words on this site stated that you represent the essex county sheriff's dept. You also went on to say you are watching me and know exactly who I am. I also stand by every single thing I have ever posted on this site. Something I have been doing long before your candy ass found it. Funny thing though, your the only one crying about my comments concerning elected sheriff's and there hack minions.
As far as playing the game goes....HAHAHAHA thats good one because I have been playing it for a long long time.
Weather your off duty or not doesn't matter stupid. Your not a private citizen, I am. You used your position as a public servant to issue a vailed threat and I'm not letting it go. Your making yourself a prime example of whats wrong with county sheriff's dep't. You hacks think you can get away with anything.

Once again, censored. I like my fights out in the open. But, I will respect the wishes of those who run the site. But for old time sake here goes nothing:

What do Irish and a Mastercard commercial have in common?

scuffing up the floors in a newly tiled hallway with your buddies and getting suspended for it: $1500 in damages,

allowing inmates under your direct control to ransack a county building and get suspended for it: $2500 in damages,

finding a patch of ice as big as your head on a lot of land as big as Rowley and going out on a 72% just days after the inmates you are charged to supervise ate your lunch: priceless.

Good luck Irish
