(Baltimore, Maryland) A 31-year-old illegal alien from Guatemala, Manuel De Jesus Gonzalez-Geronimo, was arrested for an accident which killed two highway workers and injured three others. Gonzalez-Geronimo plowed into the workers in a highway construction zone and fled the scene. He turned himself in on Tuesday.

Gonzalez-Geronimo has been charged with failure to remain at the scene of a collision involving death and bodily injury and with driving without a license. He is being held without bond at the Montgomery County Detention Center.

James Cronin, 37, and Martin Ruffin, 30, are Gonzalez-Geronimo's victims. Condolences to their friends and families.
