Escambia County, Fla.-- A wild, high-speed chase was caught on tape in Escambia County, Florida. Investigators say Jeremy Hoden broke into a house in the Lake Charlene community and led deputies on a chase through a residential neighborhood. "He was on a path of violence," says Escambia County Sheriff Ron McNesby. "We had to make a decision on what action to take to get someone like that off the streets and take him out." Deputies rammed Hoden's car two times before his vehicle was finally immobilized. A sheriff's deputy's dash-cam video mounted on a patrol car captured the arrest and the take-down. Hoden has been charged with several crimes in Escambia County. Detectives say warrants are also out on Hoden in Pennsylvania, where they say he broke into a home there and attacked the homeowner. An extradition hearing will be held in a few days.
