Im wondering if i should retake the test. I scored a 86..still have got no call since the interview and i thought it went well. Should i retake it or is 86 a good enough score to get into another academy. I had a friend who scored a 72 in an earlier test this year and got the job.

If another test is coming up, take it. Keep striving to do better. That's the best advice in a profession such as this.

I just picked up on that too MikeyD.

C.O. I - did you mean to say revamped the test to make it easier for candidates to pass, or have they specifically removed it all together?

I think I read in another forum that they changed the test, but I haven't heard about them suspending it, interesting.

it was an easy test, i had some ppl from the state or some doctors watching me as i did it. You gadda be REALLY, REALLY out of shape if you cant do it. basically tredmil at speed 5 for 6 mins, go up and down a step 3 minutes, carry an 86lb dummy, drag 150lb? dummy, push and pull a sled 120lbs, and lift a box of weights to your thighs then stomach, simple test, nothing is heavy.
