PITTSBURGH --
A Pittsburgh police officer suffered multiple injuries after a car chase through three communities overnight.
The officer chased a suspected stolen vehicle from the Hill District to Oakland.
The chase ended in the Pittsburgh Zoo parking lot in Highland Park.
One of the two suspects jumped a fence to a 40-foot drop; the officer followed.
Both were hurt, but the officer managed to catch the suspect.
The officer is in stable condition at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.
The suspect is at Mercy Hospital.
Their names have not been released.
