(WBZ) ROXBURY Police have released the names of the two victims who were fatally shot in Roxbury earlier this week.

Jessie Calhoun, 29, of Roxbury and Robert Turner, 20, of Boston were shot dead at 37 Williams Street near Dudley Station around 2 a.m. on Thursday.

A 27-year-old man who was shot in the chest and arm drove himself to a nearby police station and was then brought to Brigham and Women's Hospital. Boston Police spokeswoman Elaine Driscoll says that man is reported to be in critical condition.

Sources told WBZ at least 16 rounds were fired at the scene.

Police are now looking for a white Volkswagen Jetta with a sunroof.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the Homicide Unit at 617.343.4470. Anonymous tips can be made by calling 1.800.494.TIPS or by texting the word TIP to CRIME (27463).

The triple shooting occurred just days after police released statistics showing a significant drop in the number of shootings in the city over the first seven months of the year.
