PEMBROKE - Police have charged two men in two separate housebreaks.

On Monday, police charged Kyle Fedus, 19, of 162 Oldham St. with breaking and entering into a house with the intent to commit a felony, larceny.

Police say Fedus broke into a house on Dwelley Street between July 24 and July 29, when the homeowners were away. Police say he took a safe out of the house.

On Thursday, police charged James Keegan, 31, of 131 Spring St. with breaking and entering with the intent to commit a felony, larceny.

Police say the owner of a home on Indian Trail returned home earlier that day and found Keegan there.

The owner knew Keegan, but hadn’t seen him in several years and didn’t know why Keegan would be in his house.

After Keegan left, the owner noticed his $350 camera was missing, some computer equipment was unattached and a pillow case was taken off a pillow, police said.
