What DOD cops in N.E. are currently issuing 1805's? What happens for Criminal Activity? Local courts, or U.S. attorney handle them?

are they federal? if so then I don't believe they have any powers whatsoever in state courts.

The DOD Police on Devens are issuing and have always issued U.S. District Court Violation Notices (1805's) and they go to the U.S. District Court in Worcester for their prosecution. They can go to state courts in some cases depending on the situation, at least that's the way it was when I was with the DOD.

Devens does and currently go to Worcester. There is a JAG Officer from Hanscom that prosecutes for us but, we are in the process of getting authorized to prosecute on our own. Which is currently done by NPS Rangers and Bedford VA Chief and a few others around. 1805s are use as either a criminal complaint ie. theft or trespassing or the money ticket for m/v violations. As for state court we will drop off warrant arrests during the day or if we are a witness to something the SP/local PD are handling.
