OFFICERS / PART TIMEThe West Brookfield Police Department is now accepting applications for part-time officers. Applicants must be certified MPTC reserve-intermittent officers, possess a valid MA operators license and LTC. Applications may be obtained at the police department or by calling (50867-1405. An EOE.

WB is a nice little town. It's about 4,000 or so in population and is pretty quiet. Don't know the part timers, but the full timers are a really good bunch of guys. Chief is real down to earth and all the guys seem to like working for him. Pay is average for the area (I think PT make about $13-$14 or so), but they don't have the Quinn bill. There's a decent amount of activity and they are the primary backup for Warren which might have the highest concentration of shitbags per capita in the country. They also border Ware and North Brookfield which are both pretty busy. Hope this helps.
