BOSTON (AP) - Several Massachusetts State Police troopers are among those being deployed as part of the 972nd Military Police Company. A farewell ceremony for the Massachusetts Army National Guard unit will be held Saturday at Boston University's Nickerson Field. Six current State Police troopers are being activated and will be deployed to Iraq in the coming weeks as part of the unit.

there was at least 2 state correction officers being shipped out with that group as well. these guys are over 40 with wife and kids.
