A passerby found the body behind a red Grand Prix on Broadway around 4:30 a.m. WBZ
(WBZ)SOMERVILLE Police are investigating the discovery of a body Thursday morning.
A middle-aged white man was found dead behind a car on Broadway by a passerby around 4:30 a.m.
Police are calling the death suspicious. There was no apparent gun-shot wound. A towel seemingly stained with blood was cordoned off a short distance from the body.
The man has been tentatively identified, but investigators are not releasing his name.
Somerville Police Captain Paul Upton said there is no cause for concern.
"We haven't determined if a crime's been committed yet, we're investigating what the circumstances are," said Capt. Upton.
Detectives were seen inside a nearby apartment building.
