just out of curiosity, what was your answer to the last two questions?

Be prepared for other questions, such as: "Two inmates are romantically involved and are getting over a fight, do you give their cell privacy so they can have 'makeup sodomy'?"

Court Officer Fido at NoHo District Court told me a disturbing story of that actually happening....then i decided that corrections wasnt right for me

well, would you really want to work with a guy that attempted to come into work shitfaced? i mean would you tell your superiors? or just cover for him?

I got my Interview on july 11th, went well and they ask me the same questions, has anybody receive a letter for the next step on the process?

I'm doing my PAT on Mon, July 30th.
They totally revamped it so i'm not really sure what to expect.

NytroCop, what was your score? I called them today and they told me they were sending notice base on the score,I haven't receive nothing yet.

i got a 91... they called and scheduled my appointment like 2 days after my interview. I don't know what's up with that but i'll take it.
it may have something to do with me having the reserve police academy under my belt along with a few other certifications and already passing a few federal background checks. *shrugs* i wish i knew the rhyme and or reason i got a call.

My husband works with the people that gived me the Interview, but I got an 86 in my score so she said if I dont make it for the sep 10 academy I will go for January, but she also said that a,ot of people dont pass the PAT or the drug test so the keep going down the list..so I just hope I can get there ... Thanks and Good luck!!!

like i said, they totally revamped the PAT and from reports from Human Resources, not many people are failing it. However the drug test IS the great equalizer... especially people trying to trim off a few pounds in a hurry.
Anyways, good luck to you. you sound like you're well on your way: if not in sept then definitely in january. Hopefully I'll see you eventually!!
