RANDOLPH - One man stabbed another in a dispute between workers at a gas station Saturday, police said.
Officers charged Djamel Tayebi, 34, of 10 Reed St., Randolph, with two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon and one count of illegal possession of Mace, Police Chief Paul Porter said.
The victim, Joseph Holland, 25, also of Randolph, was taken to Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton with serious but not life-threatening wounds to his left leg, Porter said. His condition was not available this morning.
Tayebi allegedly stabbed Holland at about 6:30 p.m. at US Gas, 954 North Main St., where both men work, Porter said. Holland annoyed Tayebi by showing up at the station when he was not scheduled to work, police said. Tayebi ‘‘didn’t want him hanging around,’’ Porter said.
When Holland refused to leave, Tayebi allegedly stabbed him in the side and back of his leg, Porter said.
