SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- Six people are stabbed when a brawl breaks out at a birthday party in Springfield.
Police said the fight broke out at the party on Copley Terrace at about 3 a.m. Sunday.
Capt. Peter Dillian said about 50 guests spilled out on the street with many of them turning on each other. Alexis Dejesus, a disc jockey at the party, said the trouble started when someone broke a window in the apartment and was unwilling to pay for it.
All six stabbing victims were hospitalized but are expected to survive.
