Police receive call that boys were inside a Liberty Pole Road garage By DON CONKEY The Patriot Ledger HINGHAM - Two teenaged boys were arrested today on charges of breaking into a garage.
Adrian M. Baldeon, 17, of 6 Manor Drive, was held overnight for arraignment today in Hingham District Court, Police Lt. Michael Peraino said.
A 16-year-old Hingham boy was also arrested, but his name was not released because he is a juvenile. Peraino said that the boy would be arraigned in Hingham Juvenile Court.
Police received a call from a resident of Liberty Pole Road at about 1:30 a.m. saying that two people were inside a neighbor’s garage.
When police arrived the two boys ran down the street, Peraino said.
‘‘Officer Robert Achille chased them down to the end of the road, into a marsh, and apprehended one of them in the marsh.’’ Peraino said.
Achille found the younger boy. Weymouth police officer Edward Hancock was called in with his tracking dog. Within 15 minutes, Baldeon was arrested after hiding in a marsh.
It was uncertain today if anything was taken in the break-in, but police believe they found articles that may have been stolen from vehicles in the neighborhood, Peraino said.
‘‘We found a bunch of stuff that looks like it came out of cars, that they dropped when they were running. One was a car radio,’’ Peraino said.
Peraino said both boys were charged with breaking and entering at night, disturbing the peace and receiving stolen property.
