Anyone know where I can buy or obtain a carrier STRICTLY for SAPI plates ????? something to throw in the trunk with my diddy bag in case of an active shooter type thing. I have the plates already, I just need a new carrier. Thanks.

I use a Blackhawk plate carrier, for precisely the same scenario, with a couple of rifle-grade ceramic plates. Blackhawk and Eagle Industries are your best bet, but check some of the online distributors first. I was able to purchase my plate-carrier cheaper from LAPolicegear.com, then directly from the Blackhawk website. Think about putting a couple of spare magazine pouches on it for your pistol (or a pouch for extra shotgun shells or patrol rifle mags, if you're lucky enough to have them) and maybe a small pouch with some compression bandages and some quick clot (for casualties). I call it my SHTF kit (Sh*t Hitting The Fan). It's better to have and not need then need and not have!
