BRAINTREE - A 26-year-old Braintree man has been arrested for assaulting another man over an unpaid debt, police said.
Wissam Boumjahed was charged with with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
Police said thevictim, a 29-year-old Quincy man, had refused to pay a $60 fee for storing a car at Braintree Motors on Adams Street on Thursday night and that Boumjahed struck him on the head with a tool.
Boumjahed’s cousin, a 21-year-old Braintree man allegedly slashed the victim’s leg with an unknown object.
The cousin, will be charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. His name was not released because the charge has yet to be filed.
