I drove down to San Diego yesterday to see the Sox play the Padres. It was amazing! I couldn't believe how many Red Sox fans were there. It was just like walking around Fenway before and during a game. The Sox fans pretty much outnumbered the Padre fans. It was awesome to see and hear. There was a ton of Sox shirts and hats everywhere.
The only bad thing is we lost the game and the Sox didn't look very good. But hey, I got to see a game. Also, a buddy of mine was walking the streets near the stadium earlier in the day when Manny Ramirez and Coco Crisp walked up to them. He tells me that Manny was very friendly (probably because my buddy was wearing a Red Sox shirt). That's good to hear.

Nice to see Red Sox fans "showing the flag" wherever our boys go..keep it up! My sister lives in Cali (San Jose) and goes to games vs. the A's and she proudly sports her Red Sox pride.

Tim Wakefield has said that every game the Red Sox play in Florida is like a home game with road uniforms.

I think the old road grays look awesome, I wish they'd dump the kinda-retro 70's road uniforms they have now. Ted Williams would not approve.
The Red Sox home uniforms are probably the classiest in baseball, but the road uniforms have to go.
