MANCHESTER, N.H. -- Three people have been charged with kidnapping a man in Manchester last week and tossing him from a moving car on the highway.
Police said one of the three suspects was arrested Wednesday night in Manchester, and two others were picked up Wednesday afternoon in Florida.
Investigators said a 26-year-old Manchester man reported he was kidnapped at gunpoint last Thursday night by two men and a woman who demanded drugs, guns and money. He reported he was taken to a cemetery, beaten and threatened, then stuffed in the trunk of a car and thrown out onto Interstate 293. Other drivers reported swerving to avoid something that flew out of the trunk, only to find out it was the victim. He was treated for cuts and scrapes.
Police arrested Steven Tucker, 21, of Manchester, in the city Wednesday night on kidnapping charges. Ramon Martinez, 29, of Hooksett, and Michelle Palmer, 23, of Manchester, were arrested in Florida.
