Hey,

I am just wondering if anyone has any information on Auxiliary police departments in mass. Does it help you get hired? Which ones the best? I live in the brighton area and i was really looking at Waltham and Cambridge. Anyone have information on those 2? which one is better? Thanks for any info.

Can't hurt to call those agencies and get straight from the horses mouth. Or even better, stop into thier stations.

I belonged to the Cambridge Aux. about 6 yrs ago. It was bad then. Not much training. YOu would come once a week and have someone read things to you and then send you home. YOu would work parades, not armed and no paid details. May want to see if things have changed.
