HOLYOKE, MASSACHUSETTS (WWLP) An undercover sting operation by Holyoke police led to the arrest of an alleged drug dealer near the Holyoke mall. 31-year-old Djuan Cob was arrested and charged with trafficking cocaine. Police say they seized almost three pounds of the drug with a street value of $30,000. The undercover agents arranged for the suspect to meet them at the Holiday Inn on Whiting Farms Road for a drug purchase. "The Holiday Inn is a place where the individual felt comfortable and we wanted that individual to feel comfortable. So we made the arrangements for the individual to deliver the drugs there and we had a surprise for him when he arrived."
Cobb's 1997 Mercedes was seized, along with about $3,500 in cash, and a semiautomatic gun. His home on Longfellow Street in Springfield was also raided after his arrest.
