It is because of politicians like hime that criminals feel they can run on police with impunity. He is no different than his fellow attorneys in the state house.

Add Somerville PD to the growing list of emasculated police departments.

I don't always get along with SPD, but I know that when I need help, they are there and can get the job done. Unlike the MSP, the SPD have to directly deal with this ambulance chasing mayor.
The comments on the Somerville News article give me a little hope for humanity. Either the liberal residents don't have computers or there are actually some in the city with commonsense.
How dare this ambulance chasing, sanctuary city mayor who uses a death for publicity and political benefit, wear any blue on his outfit.

Hey Mr. Ball-less mayor of Somerville, NO matter how much grandstanding you do, you will never, ever, have any control over the State Police involved in pursuits through your slums.
Only the dummies who nod their heads in agreement, actually think your words will have any bearing on another agency chasing someone through your town.
You use a tragic death to grandstand on something you have no control over.
