LOS ANGELES -- Actor Shemar Moore is slated for a court appearance later this month after being booked for investigation of driving under the influence.
Moore plays FBI profiler Derek Morgan on the CBS television series "Criminal Minds."
Moore was released on $5,000 bail. Police said he was doing over 65 mph on Santa Monica Boulevard about 1 a.m. Friday when he was stopped by the California Highway Patrol.
The actor was arrested about 30 minutes later and taken to a nearby station where he took a breath test and was later booked.
