LANCASTER, Pa. -- A Philadelphia man shot five people, including a 2-year-old, and turned himself in Sunday less than an hour later, police said. Mark Q. Galloway, 39, of Philadelphia, allegedly shot his girlfriend, three of her family members, including a 2-year-old, and the girlfriend's daughter's boyfriend, authorities said. He then turned himself in at Lancaster County Prison 40 minutes after the shooting, investigators said. Police believe the shooting evolved from a dispute between Galloway and his girlfriend, Tameka Rodriguez. Rodriguez, 35, and her mother, Betty Hogue, 54, were shot multiple times and were in critical condition at Lancaster General Hospital on Sunday night, police said. Zymir Rodriguez-Rose, 2, his mother, Juanita Rodriguez-Rose, 19, and her boyfriend, Luis Martinez-Lopez, 29, also were shot, police said. All were in stable condition. "When you shoot somebody more than once, obviously you mean business," said Lancaster police Chief Sam Gatchell. "And this guy wasn't aiming at their legs." The five were shot outside the front door of a home, police said. Galloway called police while he fled from the scene of the shooting, Gatchell said. Galloway is charged with four counts of attempted homicide, five counts of aggravated assault and other violations. He was being held at the prison after bail was set at $1 million. Wire Services
