FALL RIVER - Police and the Bristol County District's Attorney Office are asking the public to help apprehend the man accused in the shooting death of Jerome Woodard.
The District Attorney's Office announced Friday afternoon that an arrest warrant has been secured for Luis Alberto Montalvo Borgos, 25, of Fall River.
District Attorney spokesman Gregg Miliote said the whereabouts of Borgos are unknown.
"We are searching everywhere for him," Miliote said.
Borgos is accused of shooting Woodard, 28, of Fall River, several times inside an apartment at 277 County St. during the early morning hours of May 12.
"Through the hard work of the Fall River Police, the Massachusetts State Police, assigned to the District Attorney's Office and First Assistant District Attorney William McCauley, they preformed a thorough investigation and we believe this is the man who shot and killed Jerome Woodard," Miliote said.
