McDonald's tirade lands Taunton dad in court

TAUNTON, Mass. - A local father landed in court Thursday after unleashing an alleged verbal tirade at McDonald's in Taunton.
Derek Lindsay, 34, and his child, were at the fast food restaurant's play area on Sunday, where clowns dressed as Ronald McDonald and Shrek were entertaining a group of kids.
According to police, the outburst started when another man overheard Lindsay instructing his child to push other kids out of the way. The son followed his parent's advice, which led to a verbal confrontation.
Lindsay began shouting and cursing and tried to incite a fight with the other dad. Police investigated the scene after a receiving a 911 tip from a concerned patron. Lindsay was question while parked in his white SUV.
The Taunton father was charged with disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace.

I saw this father during his interview this evening on the news. He, as well as some of the other parents featured recently on this board, convinces me even more that the social workers who "try to keep families together in spite of problems" are absolutely wrong. This dad has multiple counts of violence-related arrests in his jacket this together with goading kids into violence should be grounds for removal of the children from the household. I know there are few foster homes for the thousands of kids stuck in these violence breeding families but there should be consideration given to the re-establishment of the orphanage system whereby parents who cannot properly bring up children should have them taken at an early age and placed in carefully supervised controlled environments which will guide children into adulthood. The abolishment of these well-run community institutions have done to our children very much the same as the abolishment of mental hospitals. While mentally ill people roam the streets with little or no support children are trapped in households where violence and irresponsible parenting are creating a generation of the lost.

Too bad the other fathers didn't give him an old-fashioned beat down.

A-effing-men Inspector.
This jerk-off is just another example of the many anti-social, "lets fuck with the folks" ass-wipes out there.
You see it everyday. Most of the time we can ignore it. But Delta is right, this puke needed a good "old fashioned" slap around...
Were it one of my kids that was pushed down I wouldn't have reacted kindly.

the trouble with these guys is if they do get a punch in the nose , once the cops show up they become the "victim"

allot of posturing and threating gestures , but once you throw the first punch , your in the wrong.

most of these maggots are pros when it comes to dealing with the law due to their frequent inter-action with cops.

as far as orphanages are concerned , i think it's a great idea. let's face it , there's not enough concerned , decent people to give every kid a foster home.

put them with some decent people in a orphanage type setting and they will have a better chance.

just my .02 cents
