"THE REAL REASON- The purpose of boot camp should be to instill the discipline which will cause that Marine to stand and fight when every instinct tells him to run." I found that quote the other day in my "blue monster" while cleaning out my cellar. Kinda hits home now with all the shit going on in Fallujah. Semper Fi and Happy Birthday.

Not to nit pick, but why are you wishing the MSP Troopers happy Marine Corps Birthday? I know a few Troopers are Marines (USMC Trooper),and surley deserve a Oooh Rah, but certainly not all, and not even most. When I was in, we were "the few, the proud". That means Few.....

What about the rest of us Police Officers who are Marines?
