(AP) KEENE, N.H. A carnival worker has been charged with stabbing a woman in the neck in a city park.

Twenty-nine-year-old Sergio Vargas of Mexico was arrested Wednesday night, based on a description provided by the victim. He is charged with assault.

Police say the 20-year-old woman was walking her dog through Ashuelot River Park last evening when a man grabbed her from behind and stabbed her in the neck and chest. She's reported in good condition.

The carnival owner says Vargas has a valid visa and joined the carnival a month ago.

The carnival was a fundraiser for Saint Joseph Regional School in Keene, but the school says the show has been closed down because of the stabbing.

Nice...I wonder how much he paid for that "valid" visa.

just as a FYI we had an inmate by the name of charlie pierce.

he raped and murdered little children up and down the coast , from Maine to Florida working in one of these traveling carnivals

once caught , he stayed in mass. because we don't have the death penalty. from time to time he would give up a location to a body. he's dead now, rotting in hell.

to any cops on the street , keep an eye on this type of vermin should they roll through your town.

these so called "carnies" are pure low lifes !
