Use free Wi-Fi, get arrested

The next time you use a free hot spot, think twice. You could be arrested for using the service. That's what happened to a Michigan man, when he was arrested for tapping into a free Wi-Fi hot spot from his car rather than from the cafe that sponsors the hot spot.

Hey i was actually thinking about this the other day. What are the MA laws on using WiFi or connecting to an unsecured network that your laptop picks up. There is an establishment in my town that is listed as a free Wifi hotspot. I go there all the the time to eat and meet up with coworkers. But sometimes when i am driving by late night or early morning (usually its not open at the time), i will pull into the parking lot and connect with my laptop to check an important email, look up directions, or even bid on that last minute Ebay item. Am i breaking the law? Please advise....thanks!
