is massport police considerd a real police department? Massport Police or Suffolk County Sheriffs. what job is better

for $1,000 a week and massport benefits, I wouldn't really care if its considered a "real" police department.

MassPort all the way. most if not all their training is provided by the State Police. their now getting the MPTC training.

it's a political hack machine , but so is Suffolk County.

with MassPort you patrol the docks , work details and get some fresh air

Suffolk County , sit in a block with 100 screaming inmates and never see the light of day for your 8 hour shift.

if you've got the juice to get into MassPort , it's a nice stop while your waiting for the job you really want

Kidiaz, I have a few freinds that work at Massport. They are very unhappy there, of coures you have cops who like thier job, ones that hate it and ones that are in the middle, all in the same p.d. So take this with a grain of salt.
