I received this link in my email regarding a member of the SFPD giving a press conference to the media. The background in this case is as follows: San Francisco Police Officer Nick Birco was killed July 26, 2006 when his police car was struck by a stolen van occupied by suspects who had just committed an armed robbery and were being pursued by SFPD units. This video was of a press conference given by a member of the SFPD brass.

I found this to be a job well done by the SFPD Brass, and thought I'd share. This is just a reminder to be safe out there Ladies and Gentleman, as we all want to go home at the end of our shifts.

The gentleman speaking in this video is Gary Dalagnes, president of the San Francisco Police Officers Association. He's not brass.

I lived in San Francisco for a while. Brass out there don't talk like that.
