Augusta, Georgia) A 29-year-old intruder, Errol Lavar Royal, entered the home of U.S. Army Captain Barre Bollinger Wednesday afternoon to steal guns.

Unfortunately, one gun was being operated by the homeowner and two loads of lead were pumped into Royal's stomach from an SKS rifle - a weapon similar to an AK-47 assault rifle.

Royal was pronounced dead at Medical College of Georgia Hospital about 6:45 p.m.

According to Richmond County Sheriff's Investigator Thomas Johnson, there are no plans to file charges in the shooting.

The moral of this story? If you are going to steal guns, avoid American soldiers.

This will end up as a statistic for the Brady group.
Youth killed with an assault rifle.
Granted it's not a youth, it's not an assault rifle, and the guy was killed during the commission of a felony by the home owner but you watch....

And another intruder shot in the same town by 84-year old!!!

An 84-year old man fired more shots overnight. Investigators say he hit the woman trying to rob his home--- a woman in her late 20s early thirties who is now in serious condition at MCG. Frank Sams says the same woman had been coming to his house trying to steal from him and his wife several times this week. He was outside with his gun early this morning when she came back. He says he saw her trying to break in this building behind his house when he fired. Investigators say this is just another case of a homeowner protecting themselves and their property. This shooting follows a similar incident earlier this week. Authorities say a homeowner came face to face with a burglar trying to get in his home Wednesday. The army captain shot and killed him. No charges are expected.

I worked at a place where they got all freaked out because I brought an American Rifleman in... I'm glad I didn't stay there long.

I take my old copies, remove the address labels, and leave them in the waiting rooms of my professionals (physician, dentist, optometrist, etc.).
