As of 05/31/07 the free MassCops WebMail will cease to operate. The abuse of the free service and the inability to control the endless spam where the key factors in this decision. The current web based software is just not advanced enough to control the spam.
You will have the option to continue to use your MassCops email address if your are a subscribing member of the MassCops Message Board and you are currently using the "masscops.com" domain in your address.
Those of you that want to keep your email address must contact me via email at gil@masscops.com and must become a subscribing member that includes the email option [No Forum Ads! / Enhanced Email] by 05/31/07. If I do not receive notification from you by this date your MassCops WebMail email address / account will be deleted.
Those of you that decide to become subscribing members will have access to your email via a new web based portal as well as the option to use your favorite email client such as Outlook Express, Outlook or Eudora.
Your subscription payments will help defray the cost of running the site and will contribute to it's development.
I apologize for any inconvenience that this will cause you but I simply do not have the time or resources to maintain this free service. If you have any questions feel free to contact me at gil@masscops.com.
Sincerely, Gil Bechtel MassCops Admin
