The Horror of working at Google (w/pics)

The lifeguard pic is the best.

If you get an error when you go to the link it is because of high traffic to the site. You may need to refresh the page a few times.

If the pics show a red X you may need to right click on them and select "show picture" for them to show.

GOOD-HAIR DAYS
Google contracts with stylists to give its employees cut-rate haircuts.

Looks cut-rate to me.

Jesus...just post entirely fake links from now on...that site doesn't even work.

This thread should be named the horror of following NPD's links.

Worked fine for me as well

Posted by: CJIS

Looks like Harry and SOT are the only ones having problems. I just tried it on two of my home PCs works fine.

Posted by: KozmoKramer

Works for me.

How the hell do they get any work done?
After my shave and a haircut, massage, gourmet lunch, swim in the pool and latte over a game of snooker, it would be time to go home...
Not to mention the company paid hummer. (Notice that's a lower case h)

DOGS ALLOWED
Googlers are permitted to bring their dogs (but not cats) to the workplace.
I'm surprised someone hasn't brought that blatantly discriminatory policy to the 9th circuit.

Posted by: kwflatbed

Harry is not having problems, but who wants to play in a site for an hour to get the
pictures to load.
It's just another crap link.

Posted by: Delta784

Worked fine for me.

And speaking of work, I could definitely work for Google.

Freakin' NERD factory. That guy with the pony tail at his desk controls all of the internet.

I had to pay to upgrade their servers so you dorks could view that shit link.

From your own first post:

" If you get an error when you go to the link it is because of high traffic to the site. You may need to refresh the page a few times.

So like I said, just post fake links to stuff that doesn't exist on the web cause I'm tired of paying so people can see what you are posting about.

It's what happens when it's all about the post count
I still blame Gil for the exit policy!

It took me less than 40 seconds to view the pictures and I only needed to click on show picture twice. (from this site the first time) I hardly call that an hour of play time. (It took me longer and one refresh to get it to load from digg.com) hence my disclaimer.

The site in question was in the front page of digg.com which means it's traffic doubled or maybe even triplied.

To us "nerds" that use digg, slashdot or any other tech linking site, we all realize the page may load slower than normal.

If you are too impatient to wait for a site to load leave it. If you don't like my links don't go to them.

SOT somtimes I can't tell if you are joking so I will ask anyway.

What the heck are you talking about you paid for them to upgrade their servers? I smell crap on that one.
