Main Page waiver for LTC?

So i'm an Air Force SP and I hear if you bring your record of firearms training when you're doing your app. for your LTC you get some classes waived and you only have to take a free 2 hr class provided by the state police. I was told you obtained this record from CATM? Any truth to this or is it all a bunch of BS?

B.S. Just take the safety class. You will have less headaches.

In a word- NO. You have to take the FSC. And the MSP do not provide firearms safety classes. You must take the course from a certified instuctor.
