HOLYOKE, MASSACHUSETTS (WWLP) - One of the four men that was wounded in a fatal shooting in Holyoke last week has been arrested on drug charges, along with another person. According to a statement from Holyoke Police Chief Anthony Scott, 22-year-old Mario Velasquez of Holyoke was picked up Thursday along with 32-year-old Yanira Barreto of Holyoke on a raid at 2 Temple Street apartments.
Cocaine, marijuana, and cash was seized.
Mario Velasquez was wounded in the shooting last Friday night on High Street in which 22-year-old Gabriel Luis Hernandez of Springfield was killed.
