(WBZ)DUNSTABLE Two people were killed Thursday when an ambulance veered of Route 113 in Dunstable and crashed into the garage of a home.
A 21-year-old EMT and 57-year-old Dunstable resident, who was a patient in the ambulance, were killed.
The accident happened around 3:25 p.m. Investigators say the Patriot ambulance had picked up the patient at 127 Pleasant Street, which is a short distance from the accident scene.
Two other EMTs were also inside the ambulance at the time of the crash. The severity of their injuries are not known.
Inspectors are trying to determine the structural integrity of the garage before removing the ambulance.

Two Killed When Vehicle Veered Off Road
DUNSTABLE, Mass. -- Dunstable police identify the driver of Thursday's deadly ambulance crash as a 21-year-old North Andover man.
Michael Latta was killed after the vehicle veered off Pleasant Street and slammed into the side of the building.
A patient in the ambulance -- 57-year-old David Snell, of Dunstable -- died in the crash. Dunstable's chief EMT was also riding in the vehicle.
Police Chief James Downes said Barbara Maynard is still being treated at a local hospital.
Investigators said the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
